AutoCAD Essentials Course

This AutoCAD 2D Essentials training course, delivered remotely over individual half-day sessions. The course will thoroughly introduce the most widely used features of Autodesk AutoCAD/LT as a 2D draughting tool. The course features concise, straightforward explanations and real-world, hands-on exercises and tutorials that provide instruction on the core features and functions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT.

The AutoCAD 2D Essentials Online Course is divided into structured modules to help AEC professionals develop practical skills for real-world applications. 

• Introduction to AutoCAD: Familiarise yourself with the AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT user interface and essential tools. This module sets the foundation for using AutoCAD efficiently in professional projects.
• Drawing Accuracy and Manipulation: Learn precision techniques for drawing accuracy and object manipulation. This module enhances your ability to create and edit detailed 2D drawings.
• Organising Drawings and Advanced Shapes:Master organisational tools, layer management, and creating advanced shapes. This module helps streamline workflows and improve drafting efficiency.
• Advanced Editing and Block Creation: Develop skills in advanced object editing and block creation. This module focuses on enhancing productivity through efficient drawing techniques.
• Layouts, Templates, and Publication: Learn to configure layouts, format templates, and manage drawing publications. This module ensures professional-quality deliverables and adequate project documentation.

After the course you will be able to

• Independently create and modify complete digital drawings
• To bring structure to the drawings
• Print the drawings with the correct scales, details, sizes and texts
• Creating and using symbol libraries

Autodesk Certificate of Participation

After the course you will receive an  official Autodesk certificate of participation. This certificate is authorised by Autodesk.
