Contents AutoCAD Map 3D & GIS Basic Training

The primary objective of the course is to teach AutoCAD users involved in Mapping and/or GIS the most useful functions of AutoCAD MAP 3D.

Depending on the topic, the workshops are conducted with AutoCAD Essentials, AutoCAD Plant 3D or AutoCAD Map 3D.

• Creating Dynamic Annotation
• Importing & Exporting Data
• Coordinate Conversion
• Raster Data
• Filtering Feature Sources
• Stylising Features
• Joining Two Feature Sources
• Creating Calculated Properties
• Using Overlay Analysis

Max participants:
Maximum 8 persons per course

Pre-requisite:
Trainees should be competent AutoCAD 2D users. Good Geospatial and Mapping understanding is an advantage. A working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems is essential.

Implementation:
The course will take place with a maximum number of 8 participants, online on Zoom.
