AutoCAD Intermediate Course

This comprehensive training focuses bridging the gap between our Essentials Course and Advanced Course, introducing advanced AutoCAD techniques. Led by Autodesk certified instructors, this 4-session course is designed for professionals seeking to elevate their AutoCAD skills to the next level.

This course is perfect for professionals aiming to enhance their Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills. This course is for AutoCAD users who want to create intricate designs, but is also functional for application managers who want to work more effectively with and/or support AutoCAD. This course provides in-depth training in advanced AutoCAD techniques, preparing you for complex design projects.

What will you learn:

• Working Effectively with AutoCAD
  Learn to create customised workspaces, update the quick-access toolbar, and use advanced drawing and editing tools. Through hands-on practical exercises, you will also gain skills in accurate positioning techniques and selection tools.
• Creating Templates and Styles Management
  Master layer tools, advanced text editing, and format template styles for various elements like layers, line types, and annotation scaling. Practice advanced drawing annotation with practical exercises.
• Working with Layouts and Viewports
  Develop skills in creating layouts, managing page setups, and using viewport scaling techniques. Control object visibility in layout viewports and manage viewport properties effectively.
• Blocks and Block Management
  Focus on advanced title blocks with attributes, creating and editing attributes, and using block management palettes. Learn external and cross-reference techniques along with practical exercises to reinforce learning.

After completing the course, you will be able to:

• Create customised workspaces and update the quick access toolbar.
• Reset the drawing aids to utilise advanced settings to enhance the drawing process.
• Create drawing templates to international standards by formatting the drawing settings.
• Develop drawing layouts and use advanced features to create scaled drawings using multiple viewports.
• Create and manage drawing blocks and attributes and use advanced tools to manage reusable content. 

Autodesk Certificate of Participation:

After the course you will receive an official Autodesk certificate of participation.
