NTI Ireland & UK Announces Leadership Transition as Robert Lakey Appointed Managing Director

As of 1st January 2026, we were pleased to welcome Robert Lakey as our new Managing Director. Bringing nearly 40 years of industry experience including over three decades in the Construction sector, Robert offers a strong technical foundation, deep sector knowledge, and a clear vision for the future. 

With a proven background in construction, a strategic approach to business growth, and a commitment to strengthening what has already been built, Robert steps into the role with both stability and fresh momentum. Under his leadership, NTI Ireland & UK will continue to deliver the services and products our clients rely on to achieve success in an evolving marketplace.

Meet Robert Lakey: 

With nearly 40 years of experience, over 30 in Consulting engineering, working on a broad range of major infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges, flood defences, factories, ports and harbours, water utilities, and underground stations. 

Throughout his career, he has been a strong advocate for digital transformation in the sector. His leadership has been central to BIM implementation, software ecosystem restructuring, and large‑scale strategic digital transformation initiatives within several multinational consulting businesses.
