Oktra – Case Study

Introduction

Oktra is based in London, UK with over 200+ personnel and is a leading design and build agency, specializing in office design, fit out and refurbishment for businesses and landlords.

In addition to their in-house IT support team, Oktra wanted to find a specialist partner that could support their expanding 3D design and visualisation team with a deep understanding of Autodesk 3ds Max, CPU & GPU technologies and third-party rendering software.

Customer Challenge

Oktra needed to increase the speed of their productions with the use of optimized technology, so, their brief was to find a partner that understands the department’s workflow and the support they need. A company that not only provides the software and hardware solutions but can also provision a monthly support contract to look after the specific needs of their 3D production team on a daily basis (including both CPU and GPU visualization knowledge, Autodesk 3ds Max and third-party software).

The Solution

To address these challenges, NTI presentations and face-to-face meetings were employed with the IT Manager and the Digital Construction Director, 3D Visualisers and our Technical team to present our ideas and technologies for approval. This included hardware upgrades, software licencing and a monthly support package.
