This course, Power BI for Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Analytics, is designed to help construction professionals harness the power of Autodesk's Data Connector and Power BI for project reporting and insights. Participants will learn how to export and structure data from ACC modules like Forms, Issues, RFIs, and Cost, and then clean, model, and visualize that data in Power BI. The course covers best practices for building dashboards that track safety compliance, issue resolution, cost performance, and project health. Through hands-on exercises, users will also learn how to create calculated metrics using DAX, automate data refreshes, and share dashboards with stakeholders. By the end, attendees will be equipped to build dynamic, data-driven dashboards using only Data Connector exports—no coding or APIs required.

Session 1: Data Modelling for ACC

• How to model: Project table as hub, connecting modules
• Building relationships across:
• Projects → Issues (Snags / Quality / Safety)
• Projects → Forms (Inspections / EHS Checklists / Quality Checklists)
• Projects → RFIs / Submittals
• Calendar table: tracking overdue, weekly KPIs

Session 2: Reporting for Construction KPIs

• Simple DAX formulas:
• Open Issues Count
• RFI Response Time
• Cost Variance
• Safety Forms Submitted % by Week
• Time intelligence: last 30 days, month-over-month change

Session 3: Building Construction Dashboards

• Project health dashboard: issues, RFIs, forms
• Safety compliance dashboard: daily/weekly form status
• Cost dashboard: budget, commitments, change orders

Session 4: Sharing, Publishing & Automation

• Publishing to Power BI Service from Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Setting up scheduled refresh for ACC Data Connector exports
• Sharing with internal/external users (roles, permissions)
• Organising dashboards by project or business unit

All classes within this course will be conducted online for half-days over four days.
