About the Course:

Autodesk Civil 3D provides users with a suite of civil engineering design tools. This course covers the full range of tools to layout a storm drainage network for a proposed site, including export/import to Microdrainage for analysis.

The course aims to equip users with the skills to design drainage pipework for roads or sites using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Creating longitudinal sections
• Pipe layout network creation
• Pipe and structure rules in Civil 3D
• Surface analysis, catchment areas & gully locations
• Performing clash detection between pipe networks
• Pipe & structure labeling
• Exporting pipe layout to Microdrainage
• Importing pipe layout from Microdrainage and updating the model
• Importing pipe networks from ARCGIS
• Creating reports

Prerequisites:

Participants should have a good working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Implementation:

The course will be held online via Zoom with a maximum of 8 participants.
