Autodesk Revit BIM Management Course

Learn the basics of BIM (Building Information Modelling) Management centric frameworks using Revit.

About the Course:

This course is to enable attendees to implement a BIM centric framework using Revit, the focus of which is setting up standards and templates based on established BIM standards.

Create custom templates with annotation styles, title blocks, and custom element types.
Create schedules, including material take-off schedules with formulas.
Create custom wall, roof, and floor types
Set up a component family file with a parametric framework.
Create family geometry.
Create family types.
Create specific families, including in-place families, profiles, annotations, and parameters
Revit Linking, Work-sharing, and Collaboration

Prerequisites:

Participants are expected to have a solid understanding of Revit basics, as covered in the Revit Essentials course. It is assumed they are familiar with fundamental techniques like constructing walls, roofs, and other elements, as well as copying, moving objects, and creating and managing views, among other tasks.

Implementation:

The course will take place with a maximum number of 8 participants, online on Zoom.
