How does the integration actually work?
NTI INTEGRATOR sits between your systems and manages the entire data transfer process. It validates and maps properties, applies business rules and conditions, performs database lookups or script-based actions where needed, and then sends the transaction to the target system through standard connectors or APIs. A confirmation handshake is returned to the source system, ensuring users can verify that the transfer was completed successfully.
Is the integration one-way or two-way?
NTI INTEGRATOR supports both one-way and two-way integrations. A one-way integration transfers data in a single direction — for example, from Autodesk Vault to an ERP system. A two-way integration keeps both systems synchronised, allowing information such as order numbers, production status, and inventory levels to flow back from the ERP system and become visible within Vault.
Where does NTI INTEGRATOR run?
NTI INTEGRATOR is installed on-premises as a dedicated server component, giving you full control over where your engineering and business data lives and how it is processed. The UI of NTI INTEGRATOR can be accessed from the browser by a network connection.
